i currently have a PC, and have all my life. but my PCs always crap out on me after a year or so. A friend of mine has had a mac for almost 2 yrs now and it still runs like new. My only concern is that for my business I need to run windows. I know i can run windows on a mac via bootcamp but is it really worth it to spend the extra money on a mac? or should i just take the PC i have in for service and upgrade the ram? Is mac rly a good investment?
Personal experiences, opinions. would be appreciated.

If you are wondering I already know how to use a mac so getting used to it will not be a problem. I just wanna know if i should buy one and why

Not sure if a new OS from retail will allow me to format and load the new OS and erase any old security login stuff… Are there different OS S/W for laptop vs. Descktop?

I came across this website selling used laptops. Please check out this link usanotebook.com Let me know your opinion, would you yourself consider buying one? If so, what is the best brand out there when even considering a used one. Or would it be a bad investment and taking a risk? I’d really appreciate a pro’s opinion.

I recently bought Dell Inspiron 1420 Laptop online and am unhappy it performance usually i have a blue screen and the problem is from the hardwear not softwear and dell knew about this and thy told me they are going to replace some parts . but t do not to use dell laptop any more cause thy have a bad quality

I was thinking to buy a new laptop. I already have a laptop, which we use it with my brother so he takes it more than me.
I want to new things, and I thought why not buying an apple laptop, with MAC software. I think that is more fashionable(?) and attractive for the younger ages. I think to buy the classic MacBook: cheap, classic, fashionable, with the everything I need. BTW, Has it got wireless on it? I mean, have wireless internet with my wireless router.
I researched and I found that there is Windows Live Messenger and Microsoft Office for MAC(See down the source). And every other game or application I need is compatible with MAC.
I have the money. Will I buy it in a retail shop here or by eBay?
My birthday is coming next month, so I should tell to my parents give me my gift(money) now and not later. But, how I will convince them?
Which color I will buy?

okay, i really need a new laptop. but, being a jobless teenager that has to buy it herself, i need a cheap one. i’d like it to be something like this:
*at least 1GB memory
*at least 100GB hard drive
*decent size screen
*good processor
*built-in microphone, possibly a webcam
*CD/DVD drive
*UNDER 0!!!!

I’m buying a laptop now. I’m not sure if i should go with a Mac or a standard notebooks. I like the Mac video editing features and the photobooth stuff and how it is not as prone to viruses as other laptops. I need one with a lot of memory, the standard applications like a writing application etc., and something that I can download applications easily on. But are Macs really hard to use? Are applications more geared towards PCs than Macs?

I bought a used Dell Inspiron 1501 Laptop and when I power it up it has only one user that is password protected. The person I bought it from cannot be reached, does anyone know how I can bypass this problem? I need pretty exact directions as this is my first laptop. THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!

Bought a used dell laptop, and there is a password, do not know, and the laptop will not let you do anything to get into it, how do you, bypass the password, and get into the laptop? Won’t even let ya get to a start menu or anything. Any information will be greatly appreciated………Thanks
