I am interested in buying a laptop off of someone from craigslist. The person said its about 2 years old but it has a whole load of great specs (bluray, HDTV tuner, 4GB RAM, etc.). Basically comes with everything for a good price. Should I take it? What do you suggest?

I am looking to buy a new to laptop to DJ with. I currently have a Gateway with a 1.8Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM. The problem is that every once in a while, the computer will get frozen and skip whatever song, video, or game im playing like a scratched cd for like 30 seconds. This is unacceptable for live music performance. Would an Apple Powerbook G4 1.67Mhz with 512mb of ram be enough. I would max out the ram out once i got it. I found some online for 9. Would this setup be able to run most common dj programs. Im not looking to run any super-high-end music production software of any kind. Just DJ stuff. Thanks for any help…

"original account holder’s" information in order to help her. The computer starts, but once the Windows XP Home Edition screen shows up, the message in blue shows up…

a friend of mine just bought a used mac laptop, the problem is this: from what she was told she should be able to get free internet on it, but the users name and password are still in effect, is there any way to bypass these or to find the password? any help would be welcome!!!

Alright so I bought a used mac g3 clamshell laptop from a friend and a few months ago. Whenever I would turn it off it would make a weird noise and not turn except a few random times… I asked a friend who said I had a bad hard drive. Now my computer is really slow so I restarted it only the problem is it was loading but theres a white screen and a picture of a folder and in the middle and then a question mark appears inside the folder… Any help how to fix it?
