I'm looking for a MacBook 13'' Black Laptop from Apple. I don't want to buy one from the Apple Store, they are way too pricey.

I heard there's warehouses or storage that stock thousands of used laptops but how can I get their phone numbers and addresses? I googled for "used laptop warehouse" but the websites that showed up in the search result didn't look like first hand sources. I'm in a hurry to buy 100 to 200 functional Thinkpad T series at 0 to 0per unit.

Like this one www.frys.com but thats amercian

I'm looking for a laptop that i can use for the regular microsoft works, internet, dvd burning...
I'm also a student if that helps. I don't know which kind to buy? Which one is faster? I keep on hearing mixed ideas and experiences from lots of people.

Any ideas?

laptop was bought used from a school district. a friend updated it for me but it's still very slow. please help.

...on the screen. Would this be an easy fix? If I take it to a shop, will it be costly?

I had a macbook until recently, and I dint like it much. How are dell or hp? I am a computer science student, so I need a laptop for coding in C, C#, .NET, java etc. I mostly like windows' interface.the macbook keys were too much for me.

It was bought off a friend of mine and I contacted the rental company and they said that it wasn't under warranty anymore and they can't do anything for me. So I am stuck with a new Dell Laptop that I can't use.

Can't I have a dual OS installed so i can have both Mac and MS? I like mac's features with the movie and firefox, but i need the MS side of things with Word and other business programs. Also, I need it to be affordable. so i guess the best for the lowest price possible before entering crap land. i mainly use my computer for internet,e-mail, gaming, and watching movies. I would prefer to buy it in a store, NOT ONLINE. I live in indianapolis, Indiana. thanks.

I'm planning to buy a new laptop since our old one's pretty slow now. I'm going to use the new one basically to do papers, studying, and research. But I'm also active in art and also planning to buy a new tablet and probably photoshop. And I'll also use the laptop for browsing the web.

So which laptop is better for school studies, art, and some hobbies?

I did some research on the mac, and heard that its good. I've been using a PC for a long time. The only time I've actually used a mac is in libraries or such, but the mac seems promising for someone like me. So, mac or PC?

I just bought this used laptop, the first laptop I have ever owned.

i really want a laptop. does anyone know where i can buy one that is used and under 200$ in statesville,NC??

ok, at the moment I dont own a laptop. But I'm looking for one on eBay! Either an ibook Clamshell, (Just because they're really cute) a PowerBook or a normal iBook G3. But someone told me that you cant work Windows XP on an Apple because they use their own system. But you can install Parallels or Bootcamp. All I need is a loooooooong description of what the difference is and which would be better to get. I also want to know whether it would be a good idea to buy an Apple? AND WHAT IN THE WORLD IS OS X 10.5 Leopard. If someone could answer this in the most polite fashion without telling me how dumb I am for not knowing what OS X 10.5 Leopard is!
Keep in mind that I dont have a limited supply of money and cant really afford a macbook pro seeing that here in Souht Africa, you take the price in America and times it by 7,68. (,000 in America, R15 360 in South Africa)

I just bought a new laptop and it was quite pricey, so I was wondering if it's a better idea to just buy software that's already been used and maybe save a buck.

Points of concern:

*Will this idea even work?

*If it's already been installed on someone else's computer is it even possible to install on mine?

*If this is a good idea, what websites would it be better to purchase used software from?

*Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

I have been using Windows since the early 90's and have never used a Mac. I have an HP desktop and plan on still using it. I also want to buy a laptop because I have Wifi throughout my house and I don't always feel like sitting at a desk. A friend of mine recently switched to Mac and can't say enough good things about it. I just recently invested in an ipod touch. I downloaded itunes onto my PC and it's been working fine for me as far as loading stuff into my ipod. I basically plan on using the laptop mainly to play the MMO City of Heroes (which now has a version for Apple), to surf the web, manage my music and photos, play around in photoshop elements, and to a lesser extent edit home movies and the like from my camcorder. Given that these are the main and probably only reasons I would be using the laptop, is it worth spending the extra to get the Mac book or should I stick to an HP laptop with Windows?

And please refrain from the whole Mac vs. PC flame wars. Ideally I'd like to hear from people who have used both systems.

Not too savvy on laptops. I need to know how to find out if this computer has audio hardware or missing it or if I just need drivers. When I go to audio and sound in control panel it does appear that there is no hardware. How can I be sure

I want to buy a new laptop and I've been using a mac powerbook which has been great but since I'll be graduating college soon and entering the workforce I feel like maybe I should go back to windows? Is Vista worth it? Or should I stick with Mac? What's better? Thanks.
