i might buy a laptop and i am keen on the new apple macbook pro 17". keep in note that i have never used an apple computer/laptop in my life and i have no idea about apple hardware/software and apple computer products.
i dont mind microsoft laptops but i have had bad experiences with microsoft products in my life, they are just too complicated and are not orgnized,(a recent study by CNET that 88% of microsoft computer users do not even use the applications on microsoft and they do not even use the full processing power of a microsoft computer!)
is there going to be a future apple laptop because i wouldnt like to get a macbook pro and a new apple laptop comes out!

i just got an apple myself and i thought that i would not be able to get use to it because it would be a drastic difference. However, that is not the truth. It is really not that hard to get use to. The only difference is the set up with the icons and i track pad for the mouse. But it is really not hard to get use to. I actually like it a lot better because I like to be organized and this labtop really keeps everything in a neat order. Also, it has a lot of fire walls so chances of your computer getting attacked by any type of virus are low. I really like the apple product. I defiantly would give it a try if I were you!
dont buy apple its for pros like people who make movies or anamation
buy windows 7 when it comes out
I wouldn’t get an apple for the simple and well-known reason that little software is created for the mac operating system. Sure, windows is annoying, and it does crash, but you can do practically anything on a windows, while macs are only really good for working and media such as photos and music.
You won’t really use the full processing power of any computer unless you’re running something strenuous, like a game. Since there are little to no games availiable for a mac, i’d get a windows every time.
But really, its all down to what you’d use the laptop for. If you don’t plan to play games or anything like that, an apple is fine.
Apples are really easy to use, even if they do take a little getting used to.
Just buy your laptop, based on Hardware, Aesthetics and Customer Support. If you want to buy a windows based laptop. You may like the Acer aspire Gemstone blue. The logo lights up and the cover is very nice. also Microsoft makes the OS not the hardware. The Macbook Pro looks nice to but if your a gamer a windows based laptop is the way to go.
actually macintosh is much fun to use but if you are not familiar with it use windows..and windows is much cheaper than macintosh ^^
that Ian K guy is a total dumba** !!! apple computers are not built for pro’s at movie editing, etc… they are built for everyone & at every skill level.
I would strongly recommend purchasing the Macbook Pro 17" and it has an 8 hour max built in battery. You will most certainly love the software by Apple. It is totally Awesome and way better than Microsofts crappy stuff. Who really wants to deal with the headache’s that you get from Microsoft? And most especially Windows Vista, the biggest failure in all of Microsofts History!!! Apple designs their own hardware and software, so rest assured that your are getting outstanding quality products. As with PC’s on the other hand, your getting stuff being developed by third party companies having no idea as what to expect, which is primarily the reason why PC’s are so very unstable! And why spend $60 dollars and more on Antiviurs/Internet Security Software every year, your wasting your money! Since Apple Computers are built on the strong robust foundation of UNIX, there is no need for any of the crappy Antivirus/Internet Security b.s.!!!
Stick with the Macbook Pro 17" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
