Buy an Apple Laptop?

Hey…
I was thinking to buy a new laptop. I already have a laptop, which we use it with my brother so he takes it more than me.
I want to new things, and I thought why not buying an apple laptop, with MAC software. I think that is more fashionable(?) and attractive for the younger ages. I think to buy the classic MacBook: cheap, classic, fashionable, with the everything I need. BTW, Has it got wireless on it? I mean, have wireless internet with my wireless router.
I researched and I found that there is Windows Live Messenger and Microsoft Office for MAC(See down the source). And every other game or application I need is compatible with MAC.
I have the money. Will I buy it in a retail shop here or by eBay?
My birthday is coming next month, so I should tell to my parents give me my gift(money) now and not later. But, how I will convince them?
Which color I will buy?
Please, give me your opinion as soon as you can…
Thanks to all.

My next computer will be Mac laptop. I really am not concerned which one right now. I just want to get away from all the problems that exist with the Internet. Color should not be a concern. Just don’t get a loud one. I don’t know what colors they come in. I do know that a bright red one will induce a subhuman to try and steal it. I think it’s great that your parents might contribute to the purchase. You must go to a Apple store. DON’T but anything on eBay. If you don’t like what you get or have problems you will regret using eBay. Good luck
Go for it.
From retail shop.
If you are already familiar and comfortable with windows then don’t switch. There is no point in buying a MAC to run Microsoft applications. Yes, you can install Office and MSN, but DON’T expect many games to support a MAC.
Besides, you can buy a Notebook PC for a much cheaper.
