Can you run Windows using a Apple laptop Macintosh OSX?
I have a Apple Macbook.not a pro.And i wanted to buy these computer games like Sims 2 or Roller coaster Tycoon which only runs on Windows.is there something you can download to get Windows instead & play these games?& run Window Movie Maker 2& Window softwares?
In addition,iMovie sucks to me.Whenever i make a amv or something.A 3 min. clip takes 2 GB.Which i cant fit in on youtube which my youtube account only allows you to upload 100mb videos.So i i use those online video editors onetruemedia.com that makes me do montages that takes less space.Im too jaded to go there.So is there a software I can download besides iMovie

It’s a good thing that all Macs are Windows compatible. If you have a bootcamp then that means it is capable of running any Windows Operating System, and all of the Windows programs and games. Otherwise, just download Virtual PC from the internet. It is a program that allows you to run a different operating system while currently using the original operating system. i.e you’re currently on the Mac desktop, with Virtual PC you can run Windows without restarting or rebooting. It is simple but it takes up a lot of RAM and physical memory. But that should be no problem with Macs right?
With iMovie you can edit, shrink the movies down to the size to use on Youtube. Just go to share in the top menu bar. You can shrink it to most any size. You don’t have to use the full size video. (Read the directions!) You can get BootCamp for free from apple, just put it on your MacBook and then install a legal copy of Windows XP or something similar. Just remember that part of a Mac running Windows can then catch one of the 100,000 Windows viruses unless you also install an anti-virus program.
I have a MacBook in which for a year I have been running Windows XP in its own partition, using Boot Camp from Apple. This week I upgraded the Windows partition to Vista. It runs either one quite well. Of course, you need to provide the Windows license.
