My first laptop was a an old used Dell. Then I got a Brand New HP Pavialian this Christmas. I loved the laptop, I couldn’t say anything bad about it. Only problem is someone robbed my house an took the laptop, so now I’m looking into buying a new Laptop.
I was thinking of getting an Apple Laptop, Or a Sony laptop.

First of all I cant choose between Apple or Windows XP
I’m pretty good at computers an could adjust to Apple.
I just don’t know which was to go. An If I do choose Windows
which Brand to buy?

Ok well for my new laptop i really want an apple one
but i want it to be able to play sims2 and sims3
Im lookin at the dell XPS M1330 because it has a finger scanner built in webcam and would play the sims2 and 3?

Which one is better?
Which one is easier to use?
If i get an apple which one should i get and what software would i need?
Will either of them play the sims2 +3?
BTW i have sims2 for pc and i dont want to have to buy a new one for mac if i get it so how easy would it be to use that program thing that you can use to have windows on a mac?

Would it be easy or hard to switch from a pc laptop to an apple btw my desktop computer is pc

There is this Dell Latitude D600,it has512 mb ram,40Gb, Hard drive dvd,cdrw. there is a used onr that is REALLY cheap!! it is 3 or 4 yrs old and a used one is 9 or a refurbished one is 3. Whcih one would you get? Have u ever had any problems w/ used laptops?Thanx. 10 4 best!!

I am thinking about buying the Apple MacBook 13inch White 2.2GHz online for ,199.00. Here are some additional specs:

120GB hard drive1

Would you concider this a good buy? I used imac’s in highschool but I own a Dell laptop. I am interested in the MacBook because of the fun things I can do with photos and videos.

What is your opinion? Should I opt to buy more Hard Drive space/Memory?

I heard there’s warehouses or storage that stock thousands of used laptops but how can I get their phone numbers and addresses? I googled for "used laptop warehouse" but the websites that showed up in the search result didn’t look like first hand sources. I’m in a hurry to buy 100 to 200 functional Thinkpad T series at 0 to 0per unit.

Can’t I have a dual OS installed so i can have both Mac and MS? I like mac’s features with the movie and firefox, but i need the MS side of things with Word and other business programs. Also, I need it to be affordable. so i guess the best for the lowest price possible before entering crap land. i mainly use my computer for internet,e-mail, gaming, and watching movies. I would prefer to buy it in a store, NOT ONLINE. I live in indianapolis, Indiana. thanks.

ok, at the moment I dont own a laptop. But I’m looking for one on eBay! Either an ibook Clamshell, (Just because they’re really cute) a PowerBook or a normal iBook G3. But someone told me that you cant work Windows XP on an Apple because they use their own system. But you can install Parallels or Bootcamp. All I need is a loooooooong description of what the difference is and which would be better to get. I also want to know whether it would be a good idea to buy an Apple? AND WHAT IN THE WORLD IS OS X 10.5 Leopard. If someone could answer this in the most polite fashion without telling me how dumb I am for not knowing what OS X 10.5 Leopard is!
Keep in mind that I dont have a limited supply of money and cant really afford a macbook pro seeing that here in Souht Africa, you take the price in America and times it by 7,68. (,000 in America, R15 360 in South Africa)

I just bought a new laptop and it was quite pricey, so I was wondering if it’s a better idea to just buy software that’s already been used and maybe save a buck.

Points of concern:

*Will this idea even work?

*If it’s already been installed on someone else’s computer is it even possible to install on mine?

*If this is a good idea, what websites would it be better to purchase used software from?

*Any other suggestions?

I recently bought a 15 inch macbook pro with a student discount, but now I want to sell it and get a 13 inch macbook pro. I was told I could only buy one laptop per school year, but wonder if I just go to another apple store and use a different credit card and address, is there any way they will know? How do they know? Do they record my address or credit card number or school affiliation?

well whatever the case is, either from Pakistan or abroad, but i will prefer US , want it to be shipped to pakistan to me.
Amazon dont ship to Pakistan, On Ebay Some ppl ships to pakistan but they accept paypal and Pakistani’s are not allowed to open an account in paypal.

My private high school requires every student buy an Apple laptop which has MAC OS X in it. However, I’m not used to using Mac OS, and I intend to install XP on the laptop.
So is that possible that I can use parallel window XP and Mac OS X on Apple laptop ?? (Obviously, those operating system will be on different partitions).

I haven’t received my laptop yet, but I just want to know for sure that I can do it.
