I’m looking forward to buy a used apple laptop for under 0. As a vivid windows user (that is what i have been using my whole life!), I rarely know about the apple os. For windows based computers, i know that it is cruicial to get the copy of the os and the product key for it. I just want to know if apple does the same thing, so i can ask for it when im buying. if so, please tell me where the product key is so i dont get hustled! thanks

No, Mac OSX does not use a product key of any kind (and is thus the reason why many pirates get away with it). This means that you can install your copy of OSX offline, and you will never be asked for a product key. In addition, you will never be required to activate your copy of OSX.
im sure u dont need.. because mac os is different to other brand of computer.
