ok, at the moment I dont own a laptop. But I’m looking for one on eBay! Either an ibook Clamshell, (Just because they’re really cute) a PowerBook or a normal iBook G3. But someone told me that you cant work Windows XP on an Apple because they use their own system. But you can install Parallels or Bootcamp. All I need is a loooooooong description of what the difference is and which would be better to get. I also want to know whether it would be a good idea to buy an Apple? AND WHAT IN THE WORLD IS OS X 10.5 Leopard. If someone could answer this in the most polite fashion without telling me how dumb I am for not knowing what OS X 10.5 Leopard is!
Keep in mind that I dont have a limited supply of money and cant really afford a macbook pro seeing that here in Souht Africa, you take the price in America and times it by 7,68. (,000 in America, R15 360 in South Africa)

Your DUMB. Just kiddin,
Leopard is the latest version of the MAC OS operating system. Is like windows vista (as in it is the latest) exept ppl dont hate it.
bootcamp it installs windows xp and you can run it but you have to turn off your computer and select windows. parallels you can run both of them at the same time. you can just maximize it and there you go you got windows. its a pain in the ass do you have to buy a windows xp licence for either one of them.
oh, the ibook and the powerbookaren’t a recnts models, if you want a very MAC …. take macbook or macbook pro
OS X 10.5 Leopard is the Opearating System made by Apple (Like Windows Vista is made by Microsoft)
I would reccomend the Mac Book Air but be warned that it does not have a CD drive built in to the Laptop.
Hope this helps,
ok so first of all i would recommend a macbook or a macbook pro because there the most advanced computers, and yes definatly get a mac they are the best laptops/computers out there. I used to have a PC until someone recommended me a mac, and i can safely say i will never go back. Now i really dont know about the older macs but the new ones you can run windows on them and leopard too,you have to take in account that will take some memory from the hard drive… Which you can customize on the http://www.apple.com site. and leopard is the new system for mac’s just like windows vista except newer and ALOT better. The newer ones are probably going to be more expensive but trust me they are defiantly worth the price…
