I want to buy an mac laptop. What features do I look for?
Is there anything I should really consider before I purchase one? I also would like to know this if you use one: what do you like about it and what don't you like about it? If you can, please include the model type.

Right now Apple has 3 different models out. There is the iBook G4 and Powerbook G4, they both have PowerPC processors, and the Macbook Pro, which has an Intel processor. The iBook is the lowest end model they make, Powerbook being a mid-line, and with the Macbook Pro being the highest end model. The main advantage of having the Intel processor is that it goes 4 times faster.

The new cord is great–if somebody step on it, it just comes off, doesn’t yank the computer off the table with the cord.

When thinking about getting a MAC think 1st there are a lot of programs the will not work with MAC’S like MSN.
you can still get to hotmail but not msn
