might ask what, according to what dell has to offer, would fit me? basically a Laptop used for PC games, storage for school work and camera files, and affordable (800 and below, and if needed to, 1000)
Well, if there are any better suggestions and meet the requirements i have to find, would you mind finding it and linking it to me, so i may go on ahead and check it out on the site.
would explaining that the PC game im going for would be World of Warcraft, and would still be able to download atleast 1 more game haha, though i would totally be okay with just world of warcraft.
now as for work, i plan on doing homework for classes and also work on video clips in which i can possibly be able to download any video editing systems, so anything with storage I suppose
I have taken in consideration all of everyones ideas and am still looking for more details and what not. and feel free to send me other information =]

A Dell would be perfect for what you want to use it for. You can go to http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dellcare/en/contact_us_options?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~tab=3, and give them a call. When you call them, you can tell them what you want, and they can get you set up with a new laptop that will be perfect for you. I do not know exactly how much it will cost you, but I can say that it should cost less than $1000. I do not work for Dell, but I have quite a few of their products, and I love them. I use them as web servers, and one for my personal use. I also would recommend browsing around their site for a while. You may see something you like. The site is http://www.dell.com. I hope this helps!
Do not get a dell. A HP would be better.
Umm, try and get one with a good video card, GeForce AMD or something 2 gb of memory, alot of space. like 300-400gb hard drive if possible. other than that. idk, dont know about company comps.
From my point of veiw, A Dell laptop would be suitable for gaming and work, or even another brand that runs Windows. You should be able to find one for $1000 or under. But the choice that you make, in theory would be an important one, so consider…
If you are leaning towards work more, then a mac laptop or computer would be advisable.
Hope that helped!
On the other hand, If you do not have a gaming console, or perfer PC games, a windows running computer with a good video and sound card and a fair dose of ram, Is what you want.
Toshiba has the highest rating in the laptop computer category, explore this avenue and compare with the dell.
Go to Dell small business and have a look at the Vostra 1500. Get a glossy screen, Core 2 duo, 2 GBs of RAM, 120 HD, and the NV8600GT GC.
That is the only LT around with a top DX10 compatible GC in your price range.
