a big part of the price difference is "solid-state drive" which means it doesnt have a traditional spinning disk drive, it boots from basically a large thumb drive. a bonus is lighter wight, probably thinner case, also uses less power and also supposedly boots up under 30 seconds. The hard drive can search for items faster because the "solid-state" hard drive is all digital as opposed to a standard hard drive which is analog and has to spin the disk and search. If it’s for home use only, go with the first option.
I have a dell and am happy with it
well if it was me i would get a iBook Or a MacBook because apple computer have better features for pretty much any thing but i use a compaq tc4200 notebook with is a great computer and its a tablet notebook
Spencer K is right.
But here’s my question to you: why are you only looking at the new MacBook Air? Why not a basic MacBook?
Based on what you said you wanted to do with it, The MacBook is more than enough … and you’ll get performance and specs comparable to the $1799 Air for a LOT less!
Macbook. Great pricing, sleek design, stable, stylish.
