In terms of performance (not price), should I buy a Dell Notebook, Apple Notebook, or an Alienware Notebook?

Apple Notebook is compatible e\with it, if it is your Apple is an Intel-based mac then you can install bootcamp and install Windows (any versions). You can dual boot "Apple or Windows".
If you really wanna a monsta you should go for alienware, well that’s something like your personal supercomptuer, that can work wonders…especially gaming.
To rule out at least one of the 3, you might want to check and see if the games you are looking to play are even availabale for an Apple Laptop. If specific games are important to you, then there goes that…unless you get an Intel Mac and know how to set it up to run Windows AND OS X.
Between Dell and Alienware, I don’t see you having much of a decision. Dell OWNS Alienware. Biggest difference is that Alienware uses AMD processors over Intel. A Dell XPS and an Alienware computer are fairly comparable, it just depends on all the bells and whistles you add.
With what you want to do with it, I suggest a Dell. An alienware is for extreme gamers and an Apple (which I have) has the greatest reliance, but not so much the greatest performance.
Get the Apple Notebook with Intel processor. and you can install Vista with boot camp

If not this get the Alienware.

Parallels is to add 3D graphics support to its virtualisation software for running Windows programs on Intel-based Macs. If price is not important, I would recommend going with the notebook with the fastest dual core processor, and the fastest video card. Alienware is known for making fast machines. Dell’s Inspiron XPS line of laptops are their best performers for gamers. Apple is supposedly coming out with new revisions of their MacBook Pros sometime in June with faster processors.
Alienware will be your best choice, they out perform Dell by a long shot, and if you ever need customer services Dell is not the way to go. Some say Alienware is for gamers, but they don’t understand that a gamers pc is the best in the perfomance area for everyday users, because it is built for performance. I am a pc builder and repair tech and I want performance in a pc when i build one, and Dell is not built for that a all.
Right now the Dell XPS comes with with the top core 2 duo and a dedicated vid. but only in a 17 incher, not great for lugging around.
Apples are not great gaming computers.
