As a long time mac user I say go with the mac. My parents bought stock in the 80′s so wasn’t really my choice. mac’s cost more but they come with software on them for free that you would willingly pay 100′s of dollars for to have running on a PC. Mac’s are the easiest of all computers to get on the net with. (where do you think the old "i" came from) now i must correct false statements made. there are virus’s for macs and they are susceptible to hacking. although windows users face 4 million virus’s mac users face probably more around 100. this is less, but just like anything, it’s internet common sense. Applecare is topnotch service. years ahead of any other manufacturer of any product computer or not.
so get the mac.
if u are a gamer don’t buy macbook at all !!
cos of the OS doesn;t support that other than that it is the personal choice if the OS suits ur needs apple is not a bad choice.
Even so nowadays there is a "bootcamp" s/w which allows mac to dual boot wid windows so that’ll solve the gaming problem , also personalli feel macs are a bit on the expensive side,
yeah my sister just got a macbook, it is awsome and it is really fast and mac’s never get virus’s or hacked at all so it is the best choice
yeah…if ur a gamer….then get some type of PC….with really good antivirus/spyware/adware software…..LOL
but if u want a more dependable virus free computer…get a mac.
well, i haven’t been too impressed with Dell’s customer service since I got a laptop from them, just to pinpoint that….
I personally like Macs a lot, but they do cost more than Dells and HPs, etc
Not sure the details on Uni-work, or software compatibility, I just saw Dell in your question and a red flag went up haha
