Should I buy a Mac laptop, or a Mac laptop and a Mac desktop?
I know I want a Mac laptop, but I also kind of want a desktop. I have enough money that I can either buy a current generation MacBook Pro, or a last-gen (probably g4) powerbook and a current gen. either imac or mac pro. What do you think I should buy? I don't really need a lot of power in a laptop, unless I'm going to be using it as a desktop, which I would be if I only get a MacBook Pro and nothing else. Otherwise, I could just buy a powerful desktop and a slower, older laptop. What do you think I should do?

why not an iMac and regular macbook
iMac – 1200
MacBook-1100
(or even the $600 mac mini my friend says those are hella fast)

stay away from the last gen stuff too (going from IBM to Intel was a huge power boost plus you can run Xp or Veeesta on it)
Yeah if you need both why else would you
MacBook with 4GB of RAM
MacPro if you need a grunty desktop

last gen PowerBook would be too slow.
Depends what you are going to be doing with them?
