dude, apples are aewsome. they are known for their user friendly set up. their awesome graphics and are great for designers and artists of all kinds. that ditz who told you you can’t cut and paste assumed that and is totally wrong. In fact, it’s just like a pc, but you use the apple key instead of the control key to cut, paste and select. but any way, that’s a tiny detail!!! apples are also notorious for being extremely virus ressistant. while all of my pc friends have to get their computer d-bugged now and then, I have never had to deal with a virus in my 6 mac years. good luck!

Hi,

You brother is correct. If there is something that I would never buy, It is an Apple laptop. Believe me, when you start using one, you will badly want to get rid of that. Many experienced people good at UNIX have struggled with it, in spite of it being UNIX based. So, better don’t buy that. Your friend is trying to get rid of that useless chunk of hardware. Sorry if I am harsh.

I dont know what i’d do without my apple. It’s the perfect computer. Don’t listen to him about the software (judging the mac is OSX+), there’s plenty o’ good ones online.
I’ve never experienced a crash, or the computer overheating in my years of owning them. If he’s offering it cheap you’d be crazy to miss out, get a mac now!

Some of these idiots need to do some research before posting… I own an iMac and a MacBook pro and they’ve never let me down on software, most industry experts prefer them to the Windows alternatives! I.e. Final Cut Studio.

Mac’s are amazingly sophisticated and smooth machines, you wont regret your purchase judging that the one your friend is selling has nothing wrong with it.

yes, i totally agree the answer from your brother. As we know that most apple software are incompatible with microsoft system. So that is the difficulties faced between these system. One thing also Apple/Macintosh software is much expensive than PC/MICROSOFT.

Microsoft operating system is user-friendly and ease of use.That’s the reason why most people prefer this system around the world

It depends what courses you are taking @ college. if you are intending to use the laptop for ONLY graphics editing or Word editing, buy it. If you intend to mess about and play games, don’t. It is a misconception that no Windows programs work on Apple laptops, since you can download programs that will allow you to do it.

Personally I like pcs more even though macs look very nice xD.
Macs are not compatible with lots of programs, but so is vista. And using a mac, u cannot copy and paste, and u cannot ctrl+a to select a lot of files or pictures. And since ive used a pc since i was 2 (im 14 now) im very much used to pc so i personally wouldnt like a mac. But vista isnt very good either if your looking for a new computer. Personally if I needed a new computer, i wud buy a computer and downgrade it back to xp. I also remember watching a tv program which was comparing macs and pcs. And PC won as the spare parts are easier to[ find, better graphics and some ot[her stuff t[hat i dont remember, But apple also has its good sides…
