I am thinking about buying the Apple MacBook 13inch White 2.2GHz online for ,199.00. Here are some additional specs:

2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
120GB hard drive1
Double-layer SuperDrive

Would you concider this a good buy? I used imac's in highschool but I own a Dell laptop. I am interested in the MacBook because of the fun things I can do with photos and videos.

What is your opinion? Should I opt to buy more Hard Drive space/Memory?

i am not sure what is better an apple mac or windows.i have not used an apple mac before ... what would be better for me to buy apple macbook or windows laptop im a student..is there a big difference between the two..... thanks for the help

I have had a desktop PC for all my years of computer usage. Always windows 98.

I have played around on an Apple before, but I'm not familiar at all with its software. Is it hard to learn? (im in college)
I am thinking about buying the 9 white apple Macbook laptop. Is this a good computer? Are apple's reliable, like do they last a long time? and how are they with viruses and stuff like that?

Because my PC is like 8 years old and on its deathbed, i can barely use it beause its so loaded with junk

I have a white apple macbook laptop, which the battery is decaying. When I try and charge it, it will not charge past 85%. It loses power at about 1% per minute, when it used to lose power at 1% per 3 minutes. Can I take my laptop into a computer specialist and get the battery replaced so the battery lasts longer? Or is there a charging device I can hook up to hit so that I can save my battery? Or do I have to buy a new laptop?

I'm in university, and I use my laptop to type lecture notes, as I'm a much faster typer than handwriter. University doesn't begin for another 2 weeks, and I'd like to see if there's anything I can do about the laptop's battery before it starts.

The laptop was bought in Brazil by my boyfriend's parents and given to me for my 17th birthday. It will be my 19th in 3 days. They said, if the battery cannot be replaced and there is nothing I can buy that is attachable to the macbook that they will buy me a new one. However I don't want them to waste their money on me...and I cant believe a laptop's battery is only good for 2 years! I thought it would last much longer before it began to decay. I took good care of it...It fell of the table once or twice in university...but I was always gentle with it so I could keep it as long as possible.

I'm buying an Apple MacBook laptop. I'm planning on using it for schoolwork and music, and possibly for watching movies.
I won't be using it for gaming or anything much more than writing papers, spending too much time on the internet *wink*, and rocking out to music.
Is there any software/hardware that I need to buy in addition to simply the laptop itself?
I don't want to get roped into buying things I won't use or don't need, so - any advice would be quite welcome.
