Used Dell LaptopsI bought a laptop from Dell two years ago without purchasing the extended warranty at the time. (Which means my warranty expired a year ago.) I now have some issues with my laptop and I talked to a third party technician who fixes Dell laptop. He said I can go onto Dell website and simply purchase the warranty and use it immediately. Has anyone done this before?

I bought a Dell laptop from Best Buy last October (bought it for about 0). Here are the things that is wrong with it: won’t connect to internet (it will connect but it needs to be plugged in), freezes if left for more than 5 minutes, randomly deleted one of the games that came with the computer, just has some random spastic issues such as the webcam flickering on for a moment and turning back off.
Since my computer is less than a year old, I feel like it can at least be salvaged for parts. Physically it is in great condition. I don’t want to take it somewhere to get it fixed because I don’t want to risk paying 0+ to get it fixed, get ripped off, and then have it still have some problems. I feel like this computer would be ideal for someone that likes to work with computers because they could mess around with it and probably fix it by themselves.
If nothing else, how much could I sell the "parts" for?
*Also, I’m planning on using Ebay, so I guess I’m wondering how much I should start the bidding price at.
