I bought a laptop from dell about a month ago. I was wondering if i can use this product key to use for my desktop at home to get rid of the genuine thing.
i want to buy a laptop from dell for home use and the only good ones are business laptops. can i buy one and use it at home for stuff like the internet and games?
i’m into buying notebooks, used and new ( mostly used) and i would like to have direct access with hp, dell or any major brand name, to buy their refurbished or used systems, but i don’t know how to go about it. do any of you have an idea of how to go about it?

I always used a Desktop(Dell Microsoft). I want a laptop for portability- e-mail, wi-fi radio reception. Should I even consider an Apple? What is the best(safest) market to buy used?
I’ve been looking at iMac’s on eBay and I dont know anything about Mac computers. I do know a little about Dell and HP and IBM. I want to get a used laptop but I need to know what I should be wary of when it comes to problems. Any suggestions?

I need a laptop purely for performance and no gaming or multimedia . I usually open lot of browsers and applications and don’t shut down the laptop . i install various ims, toolbars, applications etc. need a robost system.
I have used Dell and HP tx1000 . both failed in perfomrance after a yr or so.

I have been wanting to get a Apple Laptop but I can’t afford them new. I have a Dell ( I don’t know all the details about it ) but I HATE it. It takes 9 minutes to bring up a document and 19 min to turn on. My moms been telling me that I can’t get a used Apple because it’s "used". But I no way want to try a Dell Again. Aren’t they refurbished and cleaned out when they are "used" and then sold? Isn’t only the body itself the only used part?
Is it "not safe" to by a used Laptop?
