Okay heres my situation, I'm currently have a HP laptop and I'm thinking about buying a Mac Mini, But I don't have a monitor for it, So I want to use The screen on my laptop for my Mac Mini, Is that Possible? If so how would I do that?
I have been using Windows since the early 90's and have never used a Mac. I have an HP desktop and plan on still using it. I also want to buy a laptop because I have Wifi throughout my house and I don't always feel like sitting at a desk. A friend of mine recently switched to Mac and can't say enough good things about it. I just recently invested in an ipod touch. I downloaded itunes onto my PC and it's been working fine for me as far as loading stuff into my ipod. I basically plan on using the laptop mainly to play the MMO City of Heroes (which now has a version for Apple), to surf the web, manage my music and photos, play around in photoshop elements, and to a lesser extent edit home movies and the like from my camcorder. Given that these are the main and probably only reasons I would be using the laptop, is it worth spending the extra to get the Mac book or should I stick to an HP laptop with Windows?
And please refrain from the whole Mac vs. PC flame wars. Ideally I'd like to hear from people who have used both systems.
I have had my HP Pavilion laptop for about a year now and its really slow and has alot of viruses. So i might get a mac. But i mostly want to know if the mac is good cause i am going to buy one for my grandmas birthday. She wants to use it to see her family on msn.

My freind told me that viruses dont even exist in a mac is that true?
What are the good and bad things about a mac?
Do you think i might have any difficulties with it?
Is it easy to use?
About how much does it cost?
Please dont tell me i shouldnt buy it because my hp laptop is still good or something....just answer the questions please.
use a Gateway ac/dc converter for a HP laptop (wattage is OK).
I hate my school computer; it's an HP laptop (a new kind, I'm not sure the exact model) but by the time the school year closes, it will be in decent condition. I would have only used it for about 9 months. I take good care of it, and keep it safe from spam and viruses. I used to have a Mac and it was amazing 
I miss it so much, and so I was wondering how much I could get for my used HP to save up for a new Mac. I'm probably transferring schools next year, so it would be nice to have a computer that I'm comfortable with.

I bought a used HP laptop from a colleague. He could not access it for he forgot the password( it was his daughters). He said that I can ask someone to open it. A technician was able to open it, removing all files. The technician however found out that the laptop could not be upgraded for it was more than 10 years old and the screen was too small to work with.
The Laptop was sold for 0.00
Would the lemon law which includes household products(including computers) apply on this case?
