I used to be a huge sims fanatic until my PC crashed about 6 months ago. Ever since then, I’ve been using my mom’s laptop. She just bought me a new apple laptop and I’m so happy! I love it <3 She said I can load the sims2 on my new laptop, but I heard that they take-up too much memory and ruin laptops. I have sims2: nightlife, university, pets, o4b and seasons. I know that before I stopped playing, they made one just for laptops. Does anyone know which one(s) i should get??

so i was at the apple store and saw a little guitar icon at the bottom of all the laptops and computers. i am a musician myself so i decided to investigate. i clicked on it and i didnt understand what it was.

sooo,
what can i do with garageband?

will it come with the computer or do i have to buy it and download it?

can only get it on an apple laptop?

can i like, add drums and bass to songs i recorded?

if i cant, what programs can i buy/download that will allow me to do that, and also edit songs i record?

also…
what equipment would i need to get a good recording of a song, like some equipment, mics, what? how much would it all cost? where do i get it?

and one last one…

i am 14 and get a laptop this summer for highschool next year. my mom says apple laptops suck and dont have the resources i need and and they are hard to use. what do you think of apple laptops?

I really want a white MacBook for I think ,299. My mom says no because we are going to be buying a house within the next 6 months. She has a great reason to say no, but I still really NEED the laptop. I have an iMac, but I really need an Apple laptop so I can use it while I travel, and when I go to my friend’s homes for school projects that need a computer involved, so then I can have it on my own laptop. It is also great for anykind of traveling. It could even help with my education. Say I am out of town for a weekend, even if it is just a long drive. I can type it easily on the car or plane. There would be no hassle, and I would easily be able to blue-tooth documents and such from my iMac to my MacBook. How can I convince her to buy if for me? I can even pitch in. I get a week as an allowance, but have to pay for clothes etc. Do you think I can convince for Christmas? I just want the laptop, Apple Waranty, and mouse for it.
