My gf never used apple macbook before she only used normal laptops which wasn’t last long enough she says, so this time she want to buy something will last her at least at least 3 years or more without any problems she want something last long long term and she doesn’t want any viruses so i recomend her buy a this apple macbook

ok, at the moment I dont own a laptop. But I’m looking for one on eBay! Either an ibook Clamshell, (Just because they’re really cute) a PowerBook or a normal iBook G3. But someone told me that you cant work Windows XP on an Apple because they use their own system. But you can install Parallels or Bootcamp. All I need is a loooooooong description of what the difference is and which would be better to get. I also want to know whether it would be a good idea to buy an Apple? AND WHAT IN THE WORLD IS OS X 10.5 Leopard. If someone could answer this in the most polite fashion without telling me how dumb I am for not knowing what OS X 10.5 Leopard is!
Keep in mind that I dont have a limited supply of money and cant really afford a macbook pro seeing that here in Souht Africa, you take the price in America and times it by 7,68. (,000 in America, R15 360 in South Africa)

I was searching everywhere online for a company other than apple store itself that sells used mac’s. Well I found a supposedly reputable company online that is experts at fixing laptops especially macs. They also sell them too. So after much research I decided to buy one from them for 9. I got it in September because they were running a good deal on this one and I wanted to buy it asap. I bought it for my boyfriends birthday which is in November. I turned it on when I got it..it worked fine.. I shut it down and never turned it on again. Come November…my boyfriend gets it hes so happy etc etc..now 1 week later it doesn’t work..it boots up and doesn’t even go to any screens or anything…my boyfriend didn’t do anything to it..and this company’s policy is only a 30 day return…i purchased it through Paypal and they only have a 30 day dispute period and my bank said its too late for them to do anything. The laptop has a 6 month warranty but I just want my money back. Any advice any1?

i have a mac and people said that apple doesn’t work on maple story if we don’t have windows xp.
but is there a different kind of maple story that works on apple like if there is a cheat or hack, different country maple story that works on apple, or something else?
please help cause the windows xp for mac is 0.00 and i already spent my money to buy the apple leapord macbook.

Am looking at buying a Mac Laptop mainly because they are alot better to use for editing photos & videos etc, but am not sure which one would be best for my money! Am looking to spend no more than 00 (AUD) but of course would like to spend less if I could. Doesn’t have to have the biggest harddrive as I already have my own.

I have a white apple macbook laptop, which the battery is decaying. When I try and charge it, it will not charge past 85%. It loses power at about 1% per minute, when it used to lose power at 1% per 3 minutes. Can I take my laptop into a computer specialist and get the battery replaced so the battery lasts longer? Or is there a charging device I can hook up to hit so that I can save my battery? Or do I have to buy a new laptop?

I’m in university, and I use my laptop to type lecture notes, as I’m a much faster typer than handwriter. University doesn’t begin for another 2 weeks, and I’d like to see if there’s anything I can do about the laptop’s battery before it starts.

The laptop was bought in Brazil by my boyfriend’s parents and given to me for my 17th birthday. It will be my 19th in 3 days. They said, if the battery cannot be replaced and there is nothing I can buy that is attachable to the macbook that they will buy me a new one. However I don’t want them to waste their money on me…and I cant believe a laptop’s battery is only good for 2 years! I thought it would last much longer before it began to decay. I took good care of it…It fell of the table once or twice in university…but I was always gentle with it so I could keep it as long as possible.

I’m looking for a used laptop because I would think used ones would sell for much less than new ones. I’ve found a few at different stores for around 0. It would be nice to find a used one though, to save some money, but I searched another site (I can’t remember its name) and their refurbished laptops were very expensive for some reason.
If anyone knows of any good sites, or evenany good deals on new laptops, I would appreciate if you let me know. I’m hoping to find something more powerful than 1.6GHz, and 50-80Gig of hardrive space.

So, my IBM thinkpad motherboard is busted–so busted that I think i should just buy a new laptop.

The thing is, i like both Macs and PCs. I’ve had PCs all my life and know how to use them.

I travel with my laptop often and use it for powerpoint presentations and word processing. I also download and surf the internet frequently.

So, what do you think? (right now, money isn’t an object. I just want to know what you all think.)

an apple one. i only have 0 right now [im 14] but with xmas coming…im getting a lot of money so…yeah. should i buy a brand new laptop?
or should i get a used one and buy it on craigslist?

i want to use the laptop for internet, word document, itunes, watch dvds on it, and edit photos and make ‘em look cool.

I’m starting a graduate program in instructional design.
They will mainly use Adobe’s Studio Suite (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks).

Money is an issue; but, if the Mac Pro is worth it, then perhaps the answer is yes for the Pro.

I do have a desktop PC with a pretty good graphics card, and memory. But, I was also considering buying a Mac laptop (even though I’ve only used the Mac a couple of times).

I would like to ask you if you think it would be necessary to buy a Mac Pro laptop to run the above applications (and perhaps pay extra for a faster hard drive 7200rpm and 17" screen or just the basic screen and hard drive? because I’ve read somewhere that a faster hard drive is better for running graphics, audio, and video); or would I do just as well with their basic Mac laptop and LCD screen?

Of course, the Mac Pro is much more than the basic Mac laptop, so this is why I need to find out if it’s necessary.
