I want to buy a laptop but I dont like Vista. Its too confusing for me and I hate microsoft for getting rid of the old operating system. Is there a way to still get a laptop w/o getting Vista on it? I was even thinking of getting a used laptop but dont know the best place to get one.

My private high school requires every student buy an Apple laptop which has MAC OS X in it. However, I’m not used to using Mac OS, and I intend to install XP on the laptop.
So is that possible that I can use parallel window XP and Mac OS X on Apple laptop ?? (Obviously, those operating system will be on different partitions).

I haven’t received my laptop yet, but I just want to know for sure that I can do it.

I am looking to buy a new laptop. I’ve gone through three dell laptops, and they just don’t impress me that much. I kind of want to buy an Apple laptop, but I’ve never had one, so I’m not sure how the rank against other laptops, since they have a differnet operating system. Another one i was looking at is an HP, no particular system. I would use it for personal use and stuff, so any recommendations?

I have a mac laptop. Bought the software "VMWARE Fusion" to run windows on my mac as well os x operating system. When installing, it asks for Windows product key. Where do I find that? I don’t have one. Do I have to buy widows also? Can I use a copy of windows already on another computer?

Like, I realized macs use a different operating system and such, but is there a way to allow for PC games to run on macs?
