i have all my disks that came with a dell inspiron laptop but i bought a used toshiba laptop both had vista on them the toshiba has a unknown password so if i reinstall everything will it be ok? using the dell vista disk
I'm looking into buying a laptop for college use. I'm wondering which brand to buy, and it seems that it is down to Dell vs. Toshiba. I'll be using it for college school work, music, and some photo editing. Which would you recommend?
My gf never used apple macbook before she only used normal laptops which wasn't last long enough she says, so this time she want to buy something will last her at least at least 3 years or more without any problems she want something last long long term and she doesn't want any viruses so i recomend her buy a this apple macbook

She says it's very expensive so she asking me does it really worth the price and can she be able to use or download every thing from net etc..(she knows it's different)
So what do you think people should she spend her last money and buy this one or should she buy a good toshiba for about half price?

My gf will use this computer for every thing i mean she doesn't need any thing speacial only two thing she needs long lasting computer wothout fixing it so if she spend this money i think she want this computer at least for 5years plus she worry about viruses on normal computers so this one i told her should be fine

I've got a Japanese OS Toshiba 2002 laptop and a 2006 Sony vaio desktop but confused with what I should buy next-a mac or vista pc?Don't have much chance to really use a mac that's why I'm considering it. Had the chance to use a vista pc with my roommate coz just got 1.

I am struggling with the purchase of a new laptop. I am inclined to buy a Mac for greater security, ease of use, customer service, etc. but I can get so much more (RAM, hard drive, features, etc.)in a PC such as Dell, Toshiba, Sony, HP, etc. If there are any MAC lovers out there, please give me more reasons to buy one of the new laptops that just came out.
