Trying to sell my laptop! Help?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 that i got in april, it is practically new. 80 GB hard drive, 1 GB Ram, Intel Celron 550 Processor, 15.4" Wide/HD/No glare screen, Black finish, hd sound, 6 cell battery, ac adaptor, Windows Vista Premium, all manuals and disc(windows and dell driver disc).
No scratches, no flaws, no problems. I changed my major and I am going to need a more advanced computer that is capable of more things(video/sound editing, etc.)
.
1. How much money should i ask/expect for this laptop?
2. What are good places to sell the laptop to? (Yeah I know ebay..how much would a pawn shop offer? Any online stores that buy used laptops? Will Dell buy it back and sell as refurbished?)
Thanks.

About $400 to $600, on average.
It’s the 1GB that’s going to set you back on asking for more than that. If you were running XP with 1GB, it would be better, but it’s a drawback to run Vista (speed hog) with it.
If you check this link, you can see what your model is going for right now:

Pawn shops will give you the lowest price, especially if you live around a college campus area…. because they are usually inundated with laptops from students – and even moreso during the summer break.
Dell sometimes will allow UPGRADES for a refurb… but usually they require that your current laptop is still under warranty. If it is, then you should have no problem trading it in for a credit. Although, you’re not likely to get a trade credit equal to what you could sell it for on eBay…. even if you loathe eBay.
The good thing is NOW is a great time to sell on eBay because Summer is when most students are looking for a laptop…. just like YOU are.
Software increases the amount you can ask – if you choose the right programs.
You can up the ante by adding some VALUABLE software to the computer… that’s always a bonus to the buyer. For example, one of my laptops is a 1GB and it runs Adobe Premiere CS3 – excellent video software. Anything you can add or tweak to increase the price is good. And if the buyer doesn’t want it, they can always remove it.
I would try e-bay or craigslist. I am interested in a laptop…e-mail me…where are you?
u can aslo try http://www.usedlaptops.com maybe they will get u some good money for it.
