However still, - you further need to know about it's battary, if it had been replaced, if yes, as to how long? - Find out if it's ever been repaired by checking out for any marks on it's body screws/alen screws. - Check for any body damages to find out it it had ever fallen. - Check it's LCD Screen for any blank / dark areas - Forget not to check it's ports & docking bay connector by practically attaching devices. I guess the list is long enough to ensure you have made the right buy. When it comes to Notebooks (Laptops) there nothing better than Compaq.
