you need to search harder on eBay, they have plenty of used laptops and parts cheaper than you can get anywhere else…

one place you can try is the dell outlet. check out dell.com and click on their oulet tab. you will be able to browse through reconditioned/pre-owned laptops. Or if you just needed parts they can point you in the right direction. Other major manufacturers also have outlets.
Ebay doesn’t really have any? You must not be looking very hard.
Hands down the best place to buy used laptops and parts is Ebay. I have used them for parts for years and they always have great prices.
Alternatively, you could try your local computer retailers and electronic recycling facilities.
