What are the best laptops to buy and the worst (to avoid) for a small home business?

I am soooo confused by the selection. I have always used Dell but have been told there are better ones out there. Any ideas for me? Thanks!

try hp
I have a Sony Vaio…..I love it.
If you want excellent quality & don’t care about money then go for a Sony VAIO laptop as they are great.
Dell would be my 2nd choice because of its ease of use & fair price.
PS. I’ve used Dell, Sony, Toshiba, HP Compaq, Acer laptops.
Hope this helps.
Well the Rolls Royce of Laptops is the MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air. Expensive and proprietary, but excellent performance. Its the one I would own if I was richer and less devoted to video games for PC.
I am not a fan of Dell, now. Most of the new Dells I’ve seen have been junk. They die in a year. So I’d say it was worst.
I own an HP Pavillion and have been pretty happy with it. I only had to send it back once and they fixed it pretty quick, no charge.
I absolutely love HP, but they’re mostly for entertainment.
Dell is OK for business use if you get the warranty, you’ll need it.
For a business, I recommend Lenovo. They’re what used to be IBM.
If you are going business Lenovo makes the best laptops. And if you want portable you can get the x301. It is as small as the macbook air but it is actually functional as it has USB ports, cd drive etc
Sony is crap and HP hasn’t been as good since it merged with compaq.
The Toshibas are quite nice, although myself and few of my friends are quite fond of the HP Pavillions.
Yeah, ask Cowbell how his laptop is working NOW. Oh, and I never received my plane ticket, man.
I wouldn’t take any advice from me, my laptop disappears every time I stand up.
I’ve always liked Dell or HP fine.
Go with hp, Compaq, Sony Vaio, or Toshiba. Avoid Acer and other smaller manufacturers.
I’ve had 2 Dells, an IBM and a couple of Toshibas. I wouldn’t say any of them were bad but I think I prefer the Dell over the others.
The best ones to buy are ones that work. Avoid the ones that don’t work.
