What is the least amount of memory and processor speed that a MAC can have to run pretty fast?
I would like to buy a used mac, but i would like to get one that can be pretty fast....i don't anything about apple laptops.
A mean, should i look for the Specs as a would in windows XP or Vista? i have never had or used a Mac before that's why i am asking.
any suggestions? thanx!

Its hard to say, depends if you are a person who will use it for work, wether your going to use it for design, i recommend at least 1.5 GB of ram and at least 2 GHz
You can getta macbook or imac on ebay for less than $500 and upgrade ram yourself.
If your looking for a good quality computer and dont have to big of a budget get the new macbooks or the macbook pro.
At least 512 mgb of ram, and any Mac made in the last 5 years. That means, PowerBooks, iBooks, iMacs should all be OK. You can pick one up for around $250. Make sure it has MacOs X 10.4 at least on.
