What websites do you recommend to buy laptops?

I am looking for an affordable, quality laptop that will last me 4 years. Please specify the laptop you would recommend and why. Also, I’m on a budget so a laptop under 00 would be nice. Remember, I’m also asking what websites you would recommend to buy quality laptops at a cheaper price. (Much like when you buy furniture from a warehouse) Thank you for your help!

For laptops that is affordable and that will get you through a few years, I would suggest a lower name brand like fujitsu or acer. My sister bought a HP a few weeks ago and she loves it. She paid around $650 for it at Best Buy. It only has a Celeron Processor, but all she does is do Word Documents, surf the net, and watch movies. Those laptops are good for that purpose and they will last a long time as long as you take care of them. If you want performance with a budget, get a low brand. If you just want one to surf and watch movies, get an HP or Toshiba with a Celeron. On those, just make sure you have at least 512MB of memory and probably around 60 – 80 gigs of HDD space (depending on what you plan on using it for). But if you want a laptop that will not be outdated for 4 years, your looking at twice your budget. Unless you get lucky at auctions. The one thing I suggest, whatever you decide, take the preinstalled trial software and non microsoft games that come with a new laptop, out. They usually tend to use up alot of HDD space and memory, and it usually slows down your laptop. Hopefully this can help you decide.
walmart.com is the best and greates….
Dell i have one myself and love it.
Dell is one of the best I’ll choose. It has high technologh, doesn’t break easily, and light to carry, and It’s not so expensive
dell, hp, gateway, etc. go to the manufarturer website they usually have good deals and many choices, also they offer credit so you really can buy a good system. don’t go cheap, soon after you will want a better laptop.
u can buy direct from dell they have cool discounts going
i see u wanna retain it for a long time, so u gotta be choosy
if were to buy, i’d go for the xps m 1210
it’s great buy, but costs 1200
suggest u spend that bit exta to get a great equipment that will last
the xps is a premium range and performs exceptionally well !
I would definately check out amazon.com and maybe overstock.com or frys (stores) for good deals and sales, and there are some wholesale websites too…but i can’t reccommend a place really, because I never bought one.
I suggest the latest version of apple computer, though, which boasts microsoft technology lately…and has the best graphics (for photo buffs) and also the best music capabilities (like midi stuff) at least thats what I have heard…so thats what I’ll be lookin’ at next, for myself. Hope this helps ya!
I don’t really know any good ones under 1000, but if you are looking for a place to buy one, try the manufacture’s website.
I would recommend the Apple MacBook from Amazon.com right now it has a 100 dollar rebate making it $999. The new Macs have Intel processors so you can dual boot the Mac OS seamlessly alongside Windows keep in mind though you have to buy the full version of Windows XP in order to do this…
laptop computers can be a rather tricky buy at times, I would suggest that you look out for the cheapest and yet latest desktop on the market,
the best way to do this is on what they call warehouse sale markets some of them are online.
these warehouse owners have a service where they sell laptop computers to normal customers like you and me, however with very reduced prices due to the fact that they do not have as much costs as normal shops do, such as rent and a employees etc. as you know most online shops have rather competitive prices sometimes cutting the laptop price to a half.
