   Seriously, look at Ebay. Especially after grades come out. I have seen alot of laptops sold by angry parents of students who flunked out. Another source is manufacturers websites. For instance, http://www.hp.com has an outlet center which sells refurbished laptops. Some good deals there also.

   I would stay away from ebay myself.. as I have been burned on two laptops. You can go to this site:

   av.roxsuperstore.com

   And just type laptop in the search box. You will get more hits than you can possibly need. As it is a storefront for Amazon, you will see lots of ads for refurb and used, and most of them are from computer stores so you get at least some kind of warranty. I like to use this site cuz you get all the good stuff you get with amazon (price, selection, checkout safety) but a good portion of the profit stays with a small fish.
