Which Laptop should I buy for my needs?

I have just bought the software – Final Cut Studio Pro today. I’m debating on which laptop or computer to get. Usually, I use laptops. I have the old mac which I’m planning out to recycle. I have vista laptops, but since I’m planning on using this software for fun (such as Youtube) and sometimes for serious lookouts. Is it better to buy the new MacBook Pro or the iMac. The Mac computer looks good to, but I’m sick of those old style computers, that’s why I rather go for the iMac. Any comments?

yeh go for the imac better to spend your money on somwthing that will last a long time rather that only a while
